The Welsh government has announced funding of £2.1m over three years for all further education colleges to help them implement the additional needs learning (ALN) Act, which replaces the existing special education needs (SEN) system. This funding will be used to improve educational experiences and provide tailored support to students. An example of how this funding can be used is the Camu Mlaen project at Coleg Ceredigion, which has enabled young people with complex needs access to education locally.
