Telecom operators based in the EU and in Ukraine have signed a joint statement on their co-ordinated efforts to permit free roaming and international calls between EU and Ukraine. The Commission and the European Parliament have facilitated this joint statement, and welcome a more stable framework to help displaced Ukrainians stay in touch with family and friends back home.
