Sopra Steria has confirmed via a website announcement that the normal UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service will resume on 21 September 2020. From that date, other than Tier 4 student applicants, all UKVCAS customers will need to book an appointment at a UKVCAS Service Point as soon as they register with UKVCAS, and no longer wait to receive an invitation email. Tier 4 students must wait to receive the invitation email. The IDV app will only continue to be available to some Tier 4 students. In addition, further free appointments will be made available than was previously the case.
