School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), in partnership with Pinsent Mason has launched a survey titled ‘Future of International Energy Arbitration’. The survey is the 13th major empirical International Arbitration survey conducted by the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London. The survey aims to consider the principal causes and types of disputes and the main risks and challenges faced by the energy sector now and in the future. It will consider whether arbitration will continue to be ‘fit for purpose’ as the main forum to resolve cross-border energy-related disputes and what alternatives may be suitable. The survey closes on 12 October 2022 and results will be published in January 2023.
