The Home Office has announced that new passport fees will be introduced for all applications from 2 February 2023. According to the Home Office, the increased fees will reduce the reliance on funding from general taxation from within the system and also contribute to the costs of processing passport applications, consular support overseas, including for lost or stolen passports, and the cost of processing British citizens at UK borders.
