The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has decided to maintain the status of Aquiette 2.5mg Tablets as a prescription-only medicine and not to reclassify as a pharmacy medicine. In assessing the reclassification application, this concluded that a medical prescription is still required to ensure the safe use of Aquiette. Patients can still access the medicine with a prescription from a qualified healthcare professional.
