September 2016 highlights from the Lexis®PSL Family team. This month’s highlights include consideration of decisions concerning the accommodation of a 17–year-old child, placement of a child in a secure unit in Scotland and the plain English judgment of Jackson J in Lancashire County Council v M. We also review the President of the Family Division, Sir James Munby’s 15th View from the President’s Chambers as to the crisis in care proceedings, and a decision regarding costs in a case concerning enforcement and registration of foreign child arrangement orders.
