The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government has launched a consultation on its proposed changes to Part L (conservation of fuel and power) and Part F (ventilation) of the Building Regulations for non-domestic buildings and dwellings and overheating in new residential buildings. The consultation forms the second stage of a two part consultation on the proposed changes to Part L and Part F of the Building Regulations. This consultation builds on the Future Homes Standard consultation by 'setting out energy and ventilation standards for non-domestic buildings, existing homes and includes proposals to mitigate against overheating in residential buildings'. The consultation closes on 13 April 2021.
