The Gambling Commission (GC) has announced the establishment of an industry forum that aims of gain additional insight into the views of those in the industry. The GC has asserted that the industry forum will work alongside a range of stakeholder engagement initiatives and advisory groups and that this will enable its decisions to be ‘evidence-led.’ The GC has stated that it will recruit and appoint a chair for a three-year term and that the recruitment process begins September 2023. The GC has also asserted that there will be around ten members of the industry forum and that details of the members and their advice will be published on the GC website.
