The Eurogroup has reaffirmed its support for the continued efforts of all European and national institutions involved in the preparatory work for the potential issuance of a digital euro. The Eurogroup said in a statement that it looked forward to the further work by the European Central Bank (ECB), the euro area national central banks and the European Commission in assessing key aspects of the digital euro and stood ready to contribute to these discussions.
