DR analysis: the EU has announced its adoption of the European Account Preservation Order intended to make it easier for companies to recover claims across borders. The current timetable is for publication of the rules in the Official Journal sometime in June 2014 when the Regulation will then become directly applicable in those Member States which have signed up to it. Note that both the UK and Denmark have currently opted out and so there will be no process of seeking an EAPO in this jurisdiction.
