This week’s edition of the Environment highlights includes details of the government’s final air quality plans which were published this week including an announcement that the government will end the sale of all conventional petrol and diesel cars from 2040. This week also saw confirmation that new legislation is set to be introduced later in 2017 to ban the sale and manufacture of microbeads in cosmetics and personal care products.
