The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) has introduced a new strategy to tackle labour shortages and skills crisis which will support workforce training. ECITB has pledged more than £87m to help bring talented new entrants with foundation skills into the industry as well as support ongoing training and the reskilling of workers moving from other sectors. ECITB’s new strategy sets out a three-year plan which will run from 2023 to 2025.
