The Court of Appeal has found that Rwanda’s refugee determination system is not sufficiently fair to protect asylum seekers transferred there from the UK. As a result, the UK’s agreement to send asylum seekers there is unlawful. The Court of Appeal did not, however, find that the principle of removing asylum seekers to a third country was unlawful.
