The European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) has published a draft report on a proposed regulation amending the Prospectus Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 to create an EU recovery prospectus and make targeted adjustments for financial intermediaries to help the recovery from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The amending regulation is part of the capital markets recovery package proposed by the European Commission in July 2020 in response to the pandemic.
