BEREC consults on amended Net Neutrality Regulatory Assessment Methodology

The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) has launched a consultation on the proposed update to the BEREC Net Neutrality Regulatory Assessment Methodology, which assists National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) with monitoring and supervising the net neutrality provisions set out in Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 (the Open Internet Regulation). The update includes a thorough review of the speed measurement methodology and a new guidance to help assess the general quality of internet access services. Views can be submitted until 5 pm (Central European Time) on 28 January 2022.
