The Association of British Insurance (ABI) has released figures that show that the damage caused by Storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin in the UK in February 2022 is expected to lead to a total payout by insurers of £497m, with 177,000 claims notified for damaged homes, businesses and vehicles. 169,500 of these claims relate to property damage and will cost £473m.
