Registration of leases generally

Section 4 of the Land Registration Act 2002 (LRA 2002) specifically sets out the circumstances when an application for first registration must be made.

The period for registration is two months from the date of the deed inducing registration—see: LRA 2002, s 6(4). However, an order can be made to extend the period of registration—see: LRA 2002, s 6(5).
