94 Ground Game Acts 1880 and 19061

94.1 Occupier’s rights

By virtue of the Ground Game Act 1880 Section 1 every occupier2 of land has, as incident to and inseparable from his occupation of the land, the right to kill and take ground game3. Any agreement, condition or arrangement which purports to divest or alienate that right is void4. One other person, authorised in writing5 by the occupier, is permitted to shoot ground game, and that person and the occupier himself are the only persons entitled to kill ground game with firearms6
