257 Resignation or removal of arbitrator

The parties are free to agree with the arbitrator the consequences of his resignation1. If the arbitrator resigns and there is no agreement with the parties he may apply to the court to grant him relief from any liability incurred by him and for an order in relation to his entitlement to fees or expenses2.
