UK Visas and Immigration, in a December 2020 update to the Offshore wind workers Immigration Rules concession 2017, has announced that the terms of the concession will now be granted until 1 July 2021. Introduced in 2017, the concession allowed the employment of non-EEA workers for the purpose of joining a vessel engaged in the construction and maintenance of a wind farm within UK territorial waters.
