SLC warns students to apply for student finance before deadline

The Student Loans Company (SLC) has warned students going to college or university this Autumn to apply for student finance before the deadline on 20 May 2022 for new applicants and 24 June 2022 for returning applicants. SLC confirmed that students who are still waiting for a confirmed place at university should still apply for finance before the deadline, and that those who apply for finance over the summer will not be guaranteed funding for the start of term.
