Article summary
Ofgem has launched a consultation on some areas of the proposed administration of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) 2022–2026 scheme. The proposals include a move away from the current definition of ‘domestic premises’, and maintaining the test for occupancy which has proven straightforward to administer and evidence to date. The consultation includes areas of administration that are not dependent on government legislation, and can therefore be consulted on ahead of government decisions and legislation enactment. Ofgem welcomes views from stakeholders with an interest in this scheme until 30 November 2021.
