Ofcom has published its most recent league tables assessing the complaints it received about the UK’s major home phone, broadband, mobile and pay-TV firms during the first quarter of 2021 (Q1). The quarterly report covers the third UK-wide lockdown when people were required to work from home and school was mostly online. Broadband and landline complaints faced a three-year high, while complaints about mobile services were mostly stable. Virgin Media was the most complained- about broadband, landline, pay-TV and mobile operator. Ofcom noted that the central reason for complaints against Virgin Media was the company’s handling of customer complaints. Sky and EE were the least complained-about broadband and landline providers.
