HMLR to no longer accept certified copies for first registration applications

HM Land Registry (HMLR) has published a blog post confirming that, from October 2024, it will no longer accept conveyancer applications for first registration that are comprised entirely of certified copies of title deeds and documents. Applications that are lodged before October 2024 will be dealt with in accordance with HMLR’s current direction.
