Article summary
Ofsted has issued guidance for childcare providers who have been judged inadequate or non-compliant with register requirements following an inspection. For those judged inadequate on the Early Years Register, Ofsted may take enforcement action against the provider, on top of the required steps needed to be taken, as set out in the report. If judged non-compliant with the Childcare Register, Ofsted may issue a notice setting out the steps to be taken by a deadline, or also decide to take enforcement action.
