Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has responded to the consultation which contained proposals to streamline and simplify the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) to create a new leaner, simplified and refocused CRC. DECC confirms it will be implementing the majority of the proposals with the aim of radically reducing the administrative costs of participants by more than half (55%), which equates to around £272m administrative cost savings for CRC participants up to 2030.
