The Council of the EU has adopted the regulation that will create the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). This regulation builds upon Regulation (EU) No 439/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 2010 that establishing a European Asylum Support Office (EASO). This regulation had been adopted by the European Parliament on 11 November 2021.
