The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has announced it will hold a virtual stakeholder meeting between 1 pm and 4.30 pm (CET) on 11 December 2020 regarding the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The main objectives of the open event include, to inform the public and stakeholders of the EU regulatory process for approving coronavirus vaccines and on the EMA’s role in their development, evaluation and approval; and to gain an insight into the needs of the public and stakeholders, their expectations and any concerns they my have in order for these to be considered in the regulatory process.
