HM Land Registry has announced that from 17 May 2021, it will ask customers to provide written evidence demonstrating that they have performed steps to resolve a request for information (requisition) before granting an extension. The written evidence should include a summary of dates on which outstanding matters were ‘actively pursued’ and documentation showing if a delay is with a third party.
