The Welsh Minister for Health and Social Services, Vaughan Gething, has made a written statement outlining new enhanced measures to mitigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Wales. Subject to limited exemptions, persons aged over four arriving into Wales need to undertake a coronavirus test on day two and eight of their isolation period. Those who do not will be criminally liable and subject to a fine. If neither test is undertaken, the isolation period will be extended to 14 days.
