Pensions analysis: On 6 March 2023, the Cabinet Office launched the ‘Civil Service Pensions 2015 Remedy (‘McCloud’)’ consultation, seeking views on the draft Public Service (Civil Servants and Others) Pensions (Remediable Service) Regulations 2023. The aim of the legislation is to remedy the age discrimination between 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2022 caused by the 2015 public service pension scheme reforms. On 7 August 2023 the Cabinet Office published its response to the consultation.
