Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, in conjunction with Transport for London, have announced that construction work on four new cycle routes is to begin in March 2021, adding a further 8 km to the 260 km of cycle routes added since his term began in May 2016. The routes will be built along Mansell Street in Tower Hamlets, Tooley Street in London Bridge, the CS7 route between Oval and Elephant & Castle, and the A23 between Oval and Streatham.
