The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published a letter to Waitrose regarding seven breaches of the Groceries Market Investigation (Controlled Land) Order 2010. These breaches were discovered following CMA’s request for Waitrose to review its land agreements and only two out of the seven breaches are still ongoing. Though CMA acknowledged the fact that Waitrose has taken steps to address the breaches, it also highlighted that these breaches show Waitrose’s lack of compliance.
