The European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has updated its original 2020 recommendation to National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) on reporting on the use of electricity congestion income to regulate and address high energy prices. This will allow EU Member States to use the excess congestion income to finance measures in support of final electricity customers.
