What notice period needs to be given for a formal strike-out application?

The court’s power to strike out a statement of care are found in CPR 3.4. The power is exercisable where:

the statement of case discloses no reasonable grounds for bringing or defending the claim

the statement of case is an abuse of the court’s process or otherwise likely to obstruct the just disposal of the proceedings, or

there has been a failure to comply with a rule, practice direction or order of the court
