What does Copying mean?

The copying of a copyright work is an act restricted by the copyright.

The copying of a work is only restricted to the extent that a substantial part of the work is taken. It also extends to making copies in different material forms and transient or incidental copies. Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, s 17.
