Starting and managing online claims

HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) has embarked on a significant reform programme for the justice system which aims to increase the efficiency and accessibility of civil proceedings, with the introduction of online court environments. Amendments have been made, and continue to be made, to the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) to provide that certain proceedings are to proceed by electronic means, ie online rather than on paper.
