112 Buyer to have reasonable opportunity to inspect goods

112.1 Purpose of inspection

Unless otherwise agreed, where a seller tenders delivery of the goods the seller is bound, on request, to afford the buyer a reasonable opportunity to examine the goods for the purpose of:

  1. 112.1.1

        ascertaining whether the goods are in conformity with the contract; and

  2. 112.1.2

        in the case of a contract for sale by sample, whether the bulk conforms with the sample1.
