116 Right of disposal

Where:

  1. 116.1

        there is a contract for the sale of specific goods; or

  2. 116.2

        goods are subsequently appropriated to the contract,

the seller may reserve the right to dispose of the goods until certain conditions are fulfilled. This right may be reserved by the terms of the contract or by appropriation.

The right of disposal will apply notwithstanding the delivery of the goods to the buyer or the delivery of the goods to a carrier or other bailee or custodier for the purpose of transmission to the buyer. In such circumstances property does not pass to
