117 Types of contract to which Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 applies

A ‘relevant contract for the supply of a service’ means a contract under which a person agrees to carry out a service (other than one to which the Consumer Rights Act, Part 1 Chapter 4 applies1)2.

The Act does not apply to employment contracts (ie contracts of service) or to contracts of apprenticeship3.

The Secretary of State also has the power to specify that for certain services the implied terms of Sections
