The Welsh Government has published guidance for supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged learners during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The guidance sets out expectations relating to support for vulnerable and disadvantaged learners for a range of scenarios, including on the subjects of the basic school curriculum and education outside school, as well as preparing an approach from September 2020 or for a further lockdown in the future. The guidance supplements other directions found in the ‘Operational guidance for schools and settings from the autumn term’ and ‘Guidance on learning in schools and settings from the autumn term’ and should be read alongside them.
