The Welsh Government has outlined further information about those in priority group two of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination priority group list drawn up by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation. Those in priority group two include those that are frontline health and social care workers, as they are at high individual risk of developing serious disease, or at risk of transmitting the infection. This is why they are considered as a higher priority for a vaccination than those at lower risk.
