Family Procedure Rules 2010 (FPR 2010) Practice Direction Update No 8 of 2022 has been issued, amending FPR 2010, PD 36N (Procedure for online filing and progression of certain applications for a financial remedy in connection with proceedings for a matrimonial order or for a civil partnership order) so that FPR 2010, PD 36N, para 1.4(b) no longer excludes certain variation applications from the pilot scheme underpinning the HM Courts and Tribunals (HMCTS) online service. The amendments made by the update make it possible to make applications to vary an existing financial remedy order on the HMCTS online system from 14 November 2022.
