Law360: A federal judge in the US District Court for the District of Columbia denied the Government of Pakistan’s request to make Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP turn over back-up tapes belonging to a client in an investment arbitration with the country, ruling the firm can’t hand over records it doesn’t have. The judge did, however, grant Pakistan’s request for interrogatories. The application was made by Pakistan pursuant to Section 1782(a) of Title 28 of the United States Code (28 USC § 1782).
