The Scottish Government has opened funding to applicants who are part of, or wish to enter, a land or nature-based industry and gain the practical skills required to respond to climate change. The £250,000 fund is open to applications from those aged 13 and over. Applicants can apply for £500 or more for the cost of a ‘climate change badge’ practice or technical training course. The courses can help applicants gain skills regarding soil health, peatland and wetland restoration, biodiversity, reducing carbon footprints or reducing waste.
