The Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) has published official statistics on statutory debt solutions and company insolvencies in Scotland for the fourth quarter (Q4) (January to March 2023) of the financial year 2022-23. The AiB recorded 1,912 personal insolvencies in Scotland, which is 15 more than Q4 2021-22. The data also showed that a total of 590 bankruptcies were awarded, an increase of 6.5% compared to Q4 2021-22. R3 have responded to the figures.
