Official Injury Claim (OIC) has published the claims data report for the period between 1 July 2021 and 30 September 2022. The report provides in-depth personal injury claim data on volume of claims, representation, types of claim, settlement, claims exiting the portal, liability, the portal support centre and system cooperation. The report states that in this reporting period, 71,191 claims were submitted, 64,813 were represented, 41,427 received liability decisions and 19,921 were settled. More than half of the claims were mixed tariff claims and the average time from claim to settlement was 208 days. The Association of Consumer Support Organisations (ACSO) have commented on these statistics.
