OFS announces grants for universities and colleges

The Office for Students (OfS) has announced the reservation of £1.2bn to fund universities and colleges across England. The funding will be spread to support high-cost courses, student access and success and specialist providers where needed, with the underlying premise of ensuring a first-class, worthwhile education. The OfS has also allocated an additional £211m towards infrastructure investments and external supportive facilities. Distribution to each provider is sector dependent and calculated from student population and activities offered at the institution.
