Ofgem has launched three consultations on the RIIO-ET1, RIIO-GD1 and RIIO-GT1 close out mechanisms for each of the onshore electricity transmission owner (ETO), each of the Gas Distribution Network (GDN) operator and the National Gas Transmission (NGT) network respectively. Ofgem has published its minded-to positions on each ETO’s performance under the previous transmission licence, and the GDN’s and NGT’s performance under the previous transmission price control, and is now seeking views on the results of the assessment. Responses to all three consultations can be submitted until 16 October 2023.
